I know, I am not the best
But together, our life becomes a fest
I cannot not meet you again 'n again
But in each other's arms, we cannot restrain

I behave like a kid sometimes
But we understand each other’s cute love signs
While expressing love, I may get sort of words
A hug from you gives me wings of thousand birds

Without you, I feel lonely at times
But when we're together, my all poetry rhymes
I love to pull your legs a lot
But in each other's company, time just floats

I always say that you don't give me present
But with you, beautiful will be future just like present

Life without my friend
After a litter bittle strife

I met many in this journey
Some gone by, some stayed
Nothing is free in this world
But this time, high price I paid!

One mistake, Friendship at the stake
Ignorance seems when you smile fake
Things between us are so out of track
I wish the same old days come back

Time spent with you was fun n festive
All those fond moments I’ll make you relive!
Our friendship is true, not a tale or fictive

Damp Monsoon
Moon behind haze

A bead

Roads are lovely, except for turns
Walk with me till the one comes
Few more steps with trust and doubt
No promises or bind on this route

Sprinkle some sunshine, add drops of rain
Spice it up with giggle, beautify the lane

Enormous Reminiscence, we’ll forever dwell

And time will fly, memories will churn

Nostalgia

The past untold, the time gone by
The long evening walks under the blue sky
The wisdom we shared; small things we cared,
Love fostered within and grew day by day

The excuses to meet, sms and calls
Laughter we had in the corner's coffee shop
Sudden outing plans at the last moment
Few were hit and few were flop

The trivial talks in just a random way
The toast we raised on a smallest joy
Remember those pranks we secretly played?
And the fights on 'who's gonna pay!'

That movie together we watched in the hall,
And the meal we cooked wasn't bad at all,
Bonfire. The melody. The company fine.
Together we danced on cloud number nine!

The road was twisted with many turns
But the journey didn't seem long!
Hearing the tune of unforgettable days
Today I'm composing a nostalgic song!

no tomorrow

My bag is empty, my act is done
The lights are tired… music undone
I walk further, spotlight follows me,
And I wave at the faces I’ve never seen!

Suddenly spotlight dims a little
I smile. It suits to show a fake riddle
I think it’s time to drop a curtain!
Later, dead applause will remain,
Tomorrow I'll have to come again.

If only for a night, I don’t have to be there
No tricks, ashes, words to borrow;
In the world outside this caged stage,
All I will have is... no tomorrow!

Endless night, passing yet still

And one impulsive wave with blossom

Taking everything in its embrace

Summer sky

A sweep of gold --
A slash of crimson --
Few lilac patches in the summer sky
Sunbeam gaze --
Warm breeze --
Like an artist put his canvas to dry
Grey clouds clutter when sweltering winds blow
They steal these colors to paint the next rainbow!

Incomplete lines

What happens to incomplete lines?

Do they dry up like a plucked flower in the sun
And lose the charm?

Or do they vanish in the air like camphor
And disappear?

May be they sink in the sea of time
And never come up

Or they are just wiped out by another wave
Like the words on the sand of a shore

Or do they explode inside heart?

I feel the sun

There were some illusions I recall
May be, I didn’t know clouds at all!
Dazzling stars were playing seek and hide
But now I feel the sun from both the side

Many things I am grateful for
Once I start counting score,
A song of thanksgiving's just not enough
It deserves much much more stuff

And so the merry heartbeats sing
With the whole glad world around
Let's hear together
Voice of love in every sound!

Jig-saw

Look, a child is striving here and there
To understand this new territory
Trying to interlock a jigsaw riddle
By putting pieces of life together!

He’s just nearly done
But searching for a portion
Slipped away out of focus

He will give up… go back 'n eagerly search again -
The bits and pieces of tomorrow
To make his puzzle complete!

I took a brush and paint palette in my hand after so long! Just trying to make this dull phase of life a bit interesting by experimenting with colors!

Pebbles and the pearl

Saffron skyline was her aspiration to reach
She was walking alone, early morning on a beach
Beneath the thundering ocean wave
She found few pebbles on the shore pave

Like a child does, she made a sandcastle
And embellished it with her vivid pebble
Whispering the jingle of an old lovely carol,
Ocean zephyr was drying up her castle

Another roaring tide dragged away the fort
And her pebbles too went along to escort
Alas! She spilled her desires deep inside the ocean
But taking a back step, she found a shell open
Holding the saffron pearl in her palm, soon realized the girl
She was behind pebbles but was destined to the pearl!

The fool in me!

I love the fool in me
The one who feels too much,
Thinks too much,
Talks too much,
Sees too many dreams,
Takes too many chances,
Wins sometimes and loses often,
Struggles with mood swings often,
Loves and hates,
Hurts and gets hurt,
Promises and breaks promises,
Sings and giggles,
Laughs... and cries...!

Just free

I am free…
Free as a bird
Free from all prisons
Just as free as I was before

I don’t need to ask questions to myself
And no need to seek for answers inside
Smile has just patched up with me
‘n joy will friend me again, soon!

Solitude

I've created a small world,
My own word where stays -
My dreams and hopes, deeper in my mind
My tunes and songs, sole of their kind
My thoughts and feelings, like an eternal stream
My moods and smiles, always make me gleam
The world where I can always be me
The world where I've discovered new me!

Paint my world!

I took the brush in my hand to paint some colors of happiness
But the brush was already filled with the dark color of soreness

To spread it on the canvas, I took a little pink
But the picture was screwed by the past grey ink

I washed the brush with the water of last tears
N repainted the canvas with two white layers

Now the strokes of colors look so live and bright
They have hidden the shades of the darkest night

I’d make sure, palette of sorrow doesn’t touch my brush again
N I’ll fill my canvas with the shades of happiness again and again!

Droplets...

Roar of thunders disturbed me last night
But today’s rays have made the morning bright

It seems like I missed the first rain
Few droplets I found on my windowpane

Grass is greener, brown soil has turned red
Air is damp and clouds are making shed

Cool wind is blowing softer than a sigh
When’ll you melt again...I’m looking at the sky!

The flame which illumines some poor’s hovel
The flame which glows in the lamp of the shrine
The flame which brightens granny’s eyes seeing her son’s son
The flame which lightens the heart of a lover seeing 'her' smile!

I'm a flame of faith the believer keeps in his God
I'm a flame of love the mother has for her child
I'm a flame of audacity the warrior shows for his nation
I'm a flame of liberty the slave wants from his slavery

You can fade my blaze but cannot put me out
I will always burn inside you day in day out!

It's Father's Day tomorrow! And here's something for you papa! A small pre-gift from your daughter!

You are the one who’s
ready to catch me before I fall
but instead picks me up,
brushes me off,
and lets me try again.
You are the one who
wants to keep me from making mistakes
but instead lets me find my own way,
even though your heart breaks in silence
when I get hurt.

holds me when I cry,
scolds me when I break the rules,
shines with pride when I succeed,
and has faith in me even when I fail...

Inner soul...

Life is a perfect blend of joy and sorrow! And not a single human being is distributed with more or less. Deity is so kind to consider everyone at par. Sometimes in the wave of gloom, we lose all our strength and continuously blame and curse the almighty for being so unfair to us. In dissatisfaction, lots of questions run inside and we wander all the time in the search of true answers. Few days back, loaded with some such questions, I read few shlokas from Gita somewhere: ‘Whatever you see is not always the reality. Mind is always greater than the vision. So if you see something, you should ask your mind for its reality. While judging, if mind creates confusion, raise your wisdom which you have earned so far from experiences. It will always assist to justify the situation. And if wisdom also fails to guide you, listen to your inner soul. Soul never misleads.’ So if the circumstances are unfavorable, try to see them from the eye of soul, you will visualize the same picture with some added colors of hopes!

To make me happily flow
